The company’s management has worked in the Egyptian market in the trade and industry of rebar since 1988 As well as in the Qatari market since 2003 and for more than twenty years in the Arabian Gulf region in general.

The company also has a vision of future marketing plans in the Saudi market to complement many of the products needed by the market, most of which are imported from abroad, such as specialty steel of various types, high carbon, stainless steel and nickel chrome.

Relying on our experience and long history in the trade and industry of steel rolling since 1988, we are confident that Arkan Steel will become one of the most important building blocks that contribute to the realization of the Saudi Vision 2030, due to the technology followed by Arkan Steel to provide high-quality steel products with different international specifications that will meet the requirements of the mega projects that reflect the ambition of this vision

In a record time, the company was awarded the SASO certification SASO from the Saudi Organization for Standardization, Metrology and Quality (SASO), as well as ISO 9001-2015 certified by TUV Austria

The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia has recently witnessed a great renaissance in the industrial and construction sectors, encouraged by the wise policy of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz and his Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz, and to support this huge industrial revolution, many different industries have been established in the Kingdom, and one of the most important industries is the production of rebar used in construction.

This type of industry has the following advantages that contribute to industrial growth.  

The development of the steel industry, which includes the production of various products that contribute to the urban renaissance  

Development of small and complementary industries that are related to steel manufacturing (steel forming – steel wire)

To meet the growing demand for high-quality rebar by various construction companies, to accomplish this ambitious strategy of Arkan Steel Industries, in line with Vision 2030

The Kingdom’s first step was to establish a rebar production plant in the central region with a production capacity of 500,000 tons per year, whether of rebar in lengths and coils as well as smooth coils, which are used in construction or used in factories as raw materials such as rebar forming and cutting factories – smooth steel wire drawing factories – prefabricated concrete walls factories – rebar mesh factory in various sizes as well as mesh wires used in making land and farm fences

We believe that our position in the rebar production industry gives us unique opportunities and responsibilities With this in mind. we have decided to be an integral part of the massive renaissance that the Kingdom is currently experiencing.On the other hand, we aim to reach the highest level of customer satisfaction and exceed their expectations by manufacturing high quality products and by providing a high level of performance. The second phase will witness the production of many nickel-chromium steel, stainless steel and high-carbon steel products, all of which will contribute to automotive industry projects in line with the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia’s goal of localizing the automotive industry.

The main goal since the establishment of Arkan Steel Manufacturing Company was not only to gain market share but also to industrialize those products that are imported from outside the Kingdom, so the variety of steel products we produce was a key factor in providing a national product for the local market

Rolling mill

Finish area consisting of an 84-meter-long cooling bed – length shears with the ability to control the production of special lengths up to 12 meters – electronic imaging skewer counting unit – skewer assembly unit And then the strapping unit for an average bundle weight of 2 tons

The rolling line consists of a reheating furnace – 16 horizontal and vertical rolling stands – Fast final rolling unit consisting of 10 high-speed rolling units – Heat treatment units by sudden water cooling

Steel molds for billet rolling which are the raw materials used in manufacturing are supplied from high-quality national factories

Quality assurance

The quality assurance system was applied in all stages of operations starting from the selection of hot-rolled billet blocks with the appropriate chemical composition until its transformation into the final product, which was inspected and tested to ensure its compliance with the required Saudi standard specifications and then shipped to the customer.

The company guarantees first-class quality for its products in accordance with all national and international standards, which led to the approval of Arkan Steel products for industry by the Saudi Standards, Metrology and Quality Organization (SASO) and obtaining the SASO certificate
